The Solar Oven

A solar oven is a very simple way to cook literally under the sun

In developing countries it can replace open fires to cook food. Amazingly, cutting bushes, branches and trees in order to make fire has a major environmental impact because millions are doing that. It strikes twice; less green staff converting carbon di-oxide to oxygen and releasing carbon di-oxide to the atmospher. The UN and other international organization are working hard on spreading sun ovens to developing countries. You may want to make a donation to one of these organization and support a cleaner planet

In developed countries where the sun is plentiful, a solar cooker can serve with flying colors for camping, picnics or for a lazy garden pool side cooking

Solar cookers are simple, usually cost around $50 and no more than $100
